Our history: changing to support you better
Les Tissus Marey was a wholesaler until the end of the 1980s, then evolved to the manufacturing of fabrics in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. For over a decade, we successfully offered collections of exclusive fabrics, finishings and prints.
The closure of many textile factories in France led Les Tissus Marey to relocate to China to find a powerful industry that allowed us to offer our customers sourcing and know-how, skills that were becoming less common in Europe.
The shift to manufacturing clothing was made in 2005. In 2020, 75% of our turnover came from the manufacture of clothing and Les Tissus Marey officially became Atelier Marey, a name that better represents this broadened expertise.
